16Bit Acrylic Painting of Tony Romo
The idea behind this piece was to merge digital media with traditional. This was a slow process painting that took about 5 months to complete from blank canvas to finish. I began the first steps with a cross stitching grid; each square .5 in x . 5 in. on a 16 in x 20 in canvas. It was trial and error with figuring out the most efficient way to get each color in the correct square. I then drew darker around each square and gave them color code names. Then, paint by code!
